Dowina guitars take their name from the ruins of the ancient castle of Dowina which is situated between Bratislava (Slovakia) and Vienna (Austria).They originaly started in 1979 making violins in a workshop overlooking the castle and in 2010 moved to a larger facility near Bratislava.
Currently sold in 130 dealers worldwide,we are delighted to bring these distincive and wonderful sounding guitars to Ireland since 2015.

What makes the Chardonnay really special is the personally selected American Walnut used for its back and sides. The irregular structure and color scale of this wood makes each of these guitars look unique and special, while its acoustic qualities make the Chardonnay great for any occasion.
