Leo Rowsome (1903-1970) is very prominent and important in Uilleann Piping history,he was a performer,maker & developer of the pipes and teacher.This is one of his Chanters in the key of D,which has been reeded and restored by pipemaker Andreas Rogge,who models his work on Rowsomes.Its made from boxwood,has a bend and a repair visible in the photos-but its very stable and has the Rowsome sound.
